The RTY Series and RTP Series Hall-effect Rotary Position Sensors offer non-contact sensing for demanding transportation and industrial applications at a competitive price. The RTY Series features a shaft-activated design with integral shaft options, including a lever to potentially reduce mechanical linkages. The RTP Series separates the magnet from the sensor, eliminating bearing wear from radial forces, and offers a choice of bare or housed magnets. Both series utilize a magnetically biased Hall-effect IC to detect rotary movement, converting flux density changes into a linear output. They are housed in rugged, IP69K-qualified packages with integrated conditioning and protection circuitry. Eight operating ranges from 50 to 360 are available, offering tolerance to over-travel. Low and high voltage versions support input voltages from 4.5 Vdc to 30 Vdc. These sensors are designed for long product life, ruggedness, and true non-contact operation.
